Ice cream is most definitely cheaper than therapy! just sucks that I am [in what it seems like a never ending cycle of getting] sick, mix that in with the whole vog ladidahs and its just plain misery! These past two weeks have been very draining, bu I'm still holding my head up and smiling...and that's all that really matters, right?!?

Before the pen: Feb. 06-Feb. 12.

After such a down week last week I wanted something "sweet"-like to make me smile and few things can make me smile faster and put me in a more better mood than ice-cream! Anything sweet really! I know I have such a sweet tooth, I'll never deny that! But this sticker kit and these stickers definitely put me in a more happier mood just by looking at them! It will be a good week!

I was feeling sick and extremely frustrated this week. I am glad to leave this week behind. At least I was able to get most everything I had planned to do this week done and the things I didn't get done are in the process of being checked off.

Before the Pen: Jan 23-Jan29.

I am excited for this week! This will be a good week! I specifically picked this sticker kit from DesignStickerStore because I just love the color combination and I love all the flowers and polar bear stickers. I tried to make it so that whenever I see this planner in the morning when I wake up and when I get home it will make me smile. Simple things make me smile and seeing an organized and pretty layout in my planner makes me smile. :)  I am consciously going to work really, really hard to sleep at a decent time. I bought Melatonin pills...so if it comes to it, I will take it. I hate taking pills of any kind. Oh yeah, I have to say...I LOVE the rubber stamps that I got from Target! I am SO thankful for the dollar section at Target! :) This will be a good week. :)

This week was a rough week for me. The whole week I felt like I couldn't really get my baring, if that makes any sense. It wasn't any one thing, just I wasn't feeling this week. I did end it lovely though.  A few friends and I took my DollGirl out for a fun, adventure, exploring kind of day...so that was good. Other than that, this week wasn't really one that I would remember or anything. But I survived it...and I get to start all over next week. :) yay! to lovely planners that keep me grounded when I feel like the world just wants to crumble around me!

After the pen: Jan. 09 - Jan. 15.

My first week back to teaching after my winter break was...up and down and inside and out. It was chaotic..(I didn't know that I was going to have TWO new keikis joining my class AND licensing came!) but it was also fun. I miss "my" kids when I don't see them. This week, I participated in my first LuLaRoe party, which my sister-IL hosted. Their shipping was SUPER fast! The party was on Monday and by Saturday I was able to wear my first LuLaRoe shirt! WOW! I also spent a super fun day with my family...and I SURVIVED my first week of the year back at the preschool! I would say that it was a pretty good! :)

After the Pen: Dec. 25-Dec. 31.

And there she is...my last layout for the year 2016! My wish for it being relaxing didn't really happen, but it was a VERY productive last week of the year.  I was able to purge, re-organize, and rearrange my "little corner" of the world, I spent time with family and friends, I enjoyed the beach, I created, I prepped [nearly] all my planners and journals for the new year, and I "slept in" [until  7:30am!]..so I would say it was a good, productive week! :) Goodbye to this year and hello to the new year!

New Planner! Before the Pen: Dec. 26.-Jan.01.

I came home last night from our amazing fun family Christmas party and couldn't sleep. So I wanted to do some prepping for the coming up new year with my new planners and journals. When I took out my Classic Passion Planner, I realized that because I had re-dated the planner (it was a 2016-2017 Academic Planner at first, and I didn't need it for the remainder of the year, so I just changed the dates so that I can use it next year), it was suppose to start on the 26th!

I was able to snag this gorgeous Beach themed planner sticker on BEaYOUtiful Planning's website and I loved it! Again, I need to say, that I really need to learn how to make my own stickers already! :)

But here is the layout in my new Passion Planner! I am excited for it. I need to get used to the Classic size rather than the compact size because this is double larger than it's smaller one! I am also going to be playing around with the planner set up because I don't know if I like this way yet...but we will see. I am going to be having TWO Passion Planners this week, but that's okay, I am still figuring out this Classic sized planner! :) But like I said on my other Before the Pen entry for this week, I want this week to be a calm week. Which is why I choose a beach theme for this week. Even though it's winter time, every day is a beach day here on the Hawai'ian Islands! And I love it! And also because since I want this week to be calm...the ocean is where I feel the calmest, so I thought it was a good idea to have my first theme of the new planner to be a beach them! :)

Before the Pen: Dec. 25-Dec. 31.

I had to take a picture of the last week of the year! I am going to miss my compact Passion Planner. I had gotten a Classic Passion Planner as a gift earlier this year and I will be using that one, and it seems like there is SO MUCH room in it, but for now, for one more week I can enjoy this compact planner. :)

This is a good quote to leave the year with. And I have looked through my planner and read the things that have happened through this year...and I would like to say that this was a good year for me. Had plenty of ups and down...but I am still here, and that is something to be proud of. :)

For the last week of the year, I decided to use this free planner sticker printable by LaghingAndLosingIt. I love how it's Christmas-y, but not ridiculously so. :)

And there she is! My last layout in my Golden Passion Planner. I love it, and I am glad that I was able to use these planner stickers. I want this week to be relaxing. I hope that this week is relaxing and calm. I don't really have any set plans for this week, must a list of things that I would like to do. And I want to keep it like that. I am so thankful for this break. I need it. :)

What a crazy week this was! I can't believe that it's finally over...it happened so fast, but yet I felt like it lasted F O R E V E R! But It was a good week. My kids were crazy, but that's okay, we weren't ever bored that's for sure! I actually was really anxious for tonight when we had the Christmas Eve party at my sister's house, because I'm not good with a lot of people...especially those I don't know. But it as fun, and I'm so glad that I went. And I am so happy this week is over, but glad that it happened! Only one more week! Ahhhh! :)

Before the Pen: Dec. 18-Dec.24.

You know how I attempted planner stickers in this post?! Well, here is the layout that I did with them!

I am not super satisfied with them, but I have to admit that I was excited to use them, my own stickers!, for the first time! The color did not print out as bright as I hoped that it would, but that's okay. I did it! I just have to keep trying and messing around with the colors until I get it right! But at least I did it! :) My plan is to eventually make some and let people use them free of charge, because I SUPER appreciate those who let us use their sticker designs for free! :) But I hope that I can survive this week...I have SO MUCH planned for this week...but I know that it's going to be okay...make memories, right?! :)

I love this layout-it's so bright and colorful! I really need to get on the wagon on how to make planner stickers! I have tried, and I want to continue to try to make them super cute and how I like them! This week was a crazy week for me! We started and FINISHED our Christmas gifts for our parents and I have been trying to get in my Christmas shopping in-between the crazy times! I am ALMOST done, but not quite, but that's okay, I'm not too worried. We have one more week until the break...but until, no sleep for wicked...well, for this teacher! :)

Before the Pen: Dec. 04-Dec. 10.

I don't really know why, but this is one of my favorite layouts. :) I love how the glittery washi goes so well with the stickers and I think that it adds a special BAM o it...and I love love the shiny and glitteryness! :) But I hope that this week is more smoother than the last. I know already that we are down a teacher since one of the teachers went to the Philippines for three weeks...and the sub that she got said that she will only sub if her daughter comes to school, and so it so happens that she will be in my class. I hope that that does not disrupt anything...but I don't think so, she use to be in my class...so that is okay. She is suppose to be in in the next class up, but she isn't potty trained yet, so she has to be in my class for the time being. I know that I have a lot of craft that I want to do, I have to do the gifts to the parents and so that will happen this week...and I am going to try to get the keiki's back on schedule with everything...so here is to this week! :)

After the Pen: Nov. 27-Dec. 3.

This week was e x h a u s t i n g. It felt SO long, and yet when Friday came around, it felt like it was Monday all over again! We had our Christmas program this week and so I think that is what made everything feel like it was FOREVER! We would have practices in the morning and by the time practice was over, I felt like I wanted a nap...and it was only 10:am! The keikis' were all scatterbrained because the schedule was all off this week...and it made one hell of a time for the teachers. But that's okay, because the Christmas program went well and I am so proud of the little ones. :) I can't say that I am sad to say goodbye to this week though...but I am glad that it happened! :) The first week of the last month over and done! :)

After the Pen: Nov. 20-Nov.26.

This week was...wow, I can't even find a word to describe this week. Let's just say that when I was on the way home after a LONG day on WEDNESDAY, I felt like it was already Friday! I am so glad that I had Thursday and Friday off...and then the weekend! :) I spent a lot of time with family and I also enjoyed that. I love my family! :) We had our thanksgiving meal at my sister's house and once again she out did herself, like she does every year! :) I did not participate in Black Friday shopping, but I did take advantage of it's sales...online. :) I did buy a TV online from Target since I did have some giftcard's to use...but did you know that you can only use 4 giftcards at one time (while online). Oh well, I could have gotten a TV for "free" if that wasn't the case...with all the giftcards and the deals that Black Friday brings...but oh well, that's okay, at least I still have some balance in my Target account. And I did splurge a little on some stickers that were on sale on StickiiClub...but other than that, I spent time either with my family or at the beach...which was much needed. I try to go to the ocean at least once a day, however it ranges from 5 mins to a few hours...and usually during the work week, I only have a few minutes to spare to be at the beach...but because I had a break from work, I had the time to spend a few hours at the beach with my book! :) I loved it! I also go to talk to my parents for a few minutes after not hearing from them for 2 months...so that was good! I loved that. They are coming home for a few months next year and I'm super looking forward to that! :)

Weekly Planner Layout: Nov. 20-Nov. 26.

Here is my weekly spread for this month "before the pen" I can not express just how much I LOVE my Passion Planner! I have to say that it's one of my top favorite planners that I have ever used. I really does keep me in check! I do have one for next year, but I have different plans/reasons on how I am going to use that one...and so it might not be featured on my blog (or other social media) as much as it is now...but it might make an appearance every so often...but I really love this planner. That being said, I am excited for this week. I have two work-free days for Thanksgiving. And I am so thankful that I have Black Friday off. I know that not many people do, so I am glad that I do have it off. I don't normally go Black Friday shopping, and I doubt that I will this year as well (most likely I will be be Cyber Monday shopping for my TV that I want to get!)...so I am thinking of spending it with family...preferably at the beach. I can always do the beach at any time of any day and I don't think that I'll ever get tired of it! :) I used the planner sticker kit from Sparkles of Stickers. I LOVE the hot air balloon stickers! They are SUPER cute! :) And I also decorated my spread with stickers that I got from my Pipsticks sticker subscription! I do make my own "clean room," "Blog," and "Habit tracker" stickers...and I want to look into making my own planner stickers. I think that if I do, I won't do it for money (at least at first)...because I really do appreciate those that make planner stickers and let people use them for free (as long as your tag and mention them...which duh, why wouldn't you?!) But I think that I'm going to looking into doing that! But I need to start my day now! I am excited for this week! And before I forget, I am thankful for YOU! Thank you for reading my blogs! Weekly Planner Layout: Nov. 13-Nov. 19

While doing some web-surfing the other day, I came across this free planner stickers printable from SnsTreasures! I instantly fell in-love with the bright and happy colors and the fall feeling of it all...and I knew that I had to download and print it out so that I can use it!

I ended up looking her up on IG, and I started to follow her because I love her planner sticker designs and I love how she uses bright colors! I love love love bright colors...they make me so happy when I see them!

So, of course, I had to use it in this weeks layout in my Passion Planner. I love it! I added some washi stickers of my own, and other stickers that I created for my own use. But I just love the look and layout of this weeks spread! I love the brightness of it and it makes me feel as this this week will be SO MUCH better because of it! :) (I promise there was no sarcasm in there! :)) So, yes, here is this week's spread; I'm excited to start filling it out with whats going on this week (and it's going to be a busy one! I know! :)

After the Pen: Nov. 06-Nov.12.

This week was emotionally and mentally draining for me. I don't think that it was any different than any other week...[well, election day was draining for me!]....but I think that this week I was feeling super high and super low and news after news kept hitting me, whether it was good or bad, it still kept hitting me left and right and I could barely get my foot settled on stable ground. I'm glad that I was able to have an extended stay at the beach earlier today. I did go to the beach nearly every day...even if it was just a few minutes, but yesterday I spend a good 4 hours just being on the beach and in the water...and it felt good.

As the years go by, I feel like the more that I'm alone the more content I am. Don't get me wrong, I may be more anti-social than I was when I was younger, but I still can be around people...and I will always be there for my friends when/if they need me...but I don't feel as if I, myself, can trust anyone as I wish I could. And for the most part, that's okay with me. I write a lot, and that helps plenty. But there are times where I just long for that listening ear that just listens, cares...and just is there. But I guess that's where the ocean comes in. I feel like at least, I have a place that I can go to where I can recharge and find the inner strength to continue going on.

I can't say that I'm sad that this week is gone...but I can say that I'm excited for the new week that will bring more adventures. :)

Here is this week's layout spread. I used more of my Sparkles of Stickers subscription stickers and some sticker's from my this month's Pipsticks sticker pack. I think that it turned out super cute! :) I was trying to sleep-in today, but my body just woke up and didn't want to stay in bed...and so here I am posting this and then I'm going to get my shit done for the day! :) Here's to this week and filling out this weekly spread with things I need to do and CHECKING IT OFF! :)
