LuLaRoe shirt came in! :)

When I pulled into the garage when I came home from work I was curious to see this very pretty package waiting for me in my in my mail basket. I love hearts and look how beautiful and cute this is!

I really had no idea what was inside and so I excitedly opened it and look what it was! :)

My LuLaRoe purchase came it! Wow! That was super fast...the only thing is, it fit perfectly. I now know that if I want to buy this top again and have it fit perfectly then I will buy a medium. The problem with that is that I didn't want this shirt with this patter to fit perfectly. I wanted it to wear it a bit larger so that I can do the different styles. I couldn't do it with this shirt because it fit perfectly...and wearing this shirt as is not my style of shirt. I don't normally wear patterns like this. I liked it, but not enough to keep it.

So, I brought it to my sister's house to give to her, but my DollGirl wanted to try it on!

Goodness! I love this girl so much! She cracks me me up! Here is her wearing my LuLaRoe top, that I am going to give my sister, and showing me a bit that she wrote. Oh and she is wearing her daddy's shoes! Silly little DollGirl!

But anyway, my suggestion is that if you want an Irma from LuLaRoe to fit perfectly, get two sizes down from what you would normally wear. I feel as if I could have worn a small as well...it was pretty loose feeling. It was the neckline that isn't that stretchy so, I couldn't fit my arms in it as well so that I an make it into a halter. I might I like this shirt, but I would have liked it better as a large so that I could make it into a halter/one shoulder/dress shirt thing...oh well. Now I know!

LuLaRoe Reciew.

A couple of weeks ago, my sister-in-law told me that she was hosting a LuLaRoe party and I had her explain to me what exactly that was. And she even showed me a few (or it could have been a LOT) of the pieces that she had. I was amazing with how "buttery soft" the leggings where and I was looking forward to getting a pair myself. At her online/fb party I was able to get an Irma top (with the recommendation of my other friend, Ashley, who has several of them!), a pair of leggings and an Amelia dress for my sister. I have to admit that the prices were a lot more than what I would normally spend on clothes, but I told myself that this was an investment on myself. For awhile now, I have been wanting to update my wardrobe and get rid of a lot of my clothes. I was really trying to see if I could survive on a "capsule wardrobe"...I mean, because I do live in Hawai'i and basically as long as I had Spring/Fall outfits, that can work year-round for me. I would say "summer" but it does get "cold" in the winter and I like to wear pants/leggins when it gets "colder". (Right now I feel cold because the tradewinds are blowing something fierce, but when I checked the weather, it is 81 degrees. So that can give you a hint of the weather that I live with. :)

When I got home today I went straight to my computer to log onto FB because my friend was hosting a LuLaRoe party and I wanted to support her, and also add to my LuLaRoe collection. I was planning on buying at least 2 more Irma's and I really wanted a maxi dress/skirt and maybe a pair of leggings if I saw a pattern that I liked. Unfortunately, I only really liked one Irma top and so I was able to get that one. I told myself that I can only buy from people that I know so that I won't just buy whenever I see a sale and go bankrupt! :)

So, this is the Irma top that I ended up buying. I just settled my invoice with the seller, and now I just have to wait patiently for it to get to me! I am super excited for it! It is a pattern that I normally wouldn't get, but now that I know that there are several ways to wear an Irma top I think that this pattern will work really nicely! :)

Here is a picture of one of the first Irma that I got from my sister-in-law's pop up shop! :) I super like it! Here I am wearing it like a halter top and it's super comfy to wear it like this! How I did this was I pulled my arms and head through the neck hole and pulled the sleeves back around my neck and tied it. I used a hair tie to tie it easier. I think that this is my favorite way to wear it. This is a sizes Large, and when I put it on it was like a tent on me! I don't think that I would wear it as is because it's so large. I usually wear it with a knot tied on the inside, either on the side, both sides, or on the back. It does tend to have a higher neckline than I normally like, so the halter top would be the way that I would like to wear it. :)

(My goodness, my hair looks super long in the last picture! And I just cut is a few months ago too! :) Yay, to fast growing hair! :))

Rodan + Fields: Just trying things out!

A couple days ago my friend came to pick up her child at the preschool and I mentioned that I LOVE her eyelash extensions...except they weren't extensions! They were her REAL eyelashes! AND she wasn't even wearing mascara! The next day she came wearing mascara and it really did look like she was wearing fake eyelashes or something. They were super long, thick and just looked really good, so I mentioned it again and that's when she told me that she was a Rodan + Fields Consultant and wanted to know if I wanted to join her Lash Boost Party that she was going to be throwing in two days on Facebook telling everyone what her business was all about.

I told her that I would love to, and she was in no way pushy about anything, but very informative and didn't make me feel like I had to buy anything at all! I usually stay clear out of things like this because I always feel like I am pressured to buy something. But this time, she just told me facts and I even SAW results on her so yes, I decided to try out the Lash Boost of Rodan + Fields.

I went ahead and bought the Lash Boost and I am super excited to try it out. My other friend also bought and also signed up to be a consultant herself as well! I told her that I would wait for her to get her Lash Boost so that we can try this out together. The process is super easy! Basically, every night on a clean face you swipe this serum on your top lash line and let it soak/dry in and that's it. For 8 weeks you do this, but you can already see results within a few weeks...and so I am excited to try this! After the 8 weeks of doing this daily, you can just apply this just 2 times a week. So even though it's a 60 day supply, it can last longer! For one 60 day supply it was $135.

I don't really wear a lot of make up any longer...I do miss it, because I just love being girlie like that. :) But I still love my mascara and blush...and I will always love lipgloss/chapstick! Other than that I don't really do anything else to "fix" my looks (aside from trying to make healthy choices to loose weight and...be more healthy.). So this was something different for me. But I really want this...who doesn't want longer, thicker, darker lashes!

When I decided to become a preferred customer, I was automatically entered into a drawing to win a Lash Boost product and new Burberry sunglasses! And guess what?! I won! So today, Hillary (my friend who is the consultant to introduced me into Rodan + Fields) brought me my prize. Later on, the Lash Boost will be coming in the mail...and I'm excited! I have two supplies of Lash Boost!

I will never say no to a gift! And so when Hillary and her son brought me this gift, I was excited! Especially since I knew what was inside! :)

So this is what the Lash Boost looks like when it comes to you.

And then you open it and then....

You get the actual product. I have to say that I absolutely adore the packaging! I love the presentation and I appreciate how it looks! :) I'm more than SUPER proud to finally use it! I think I'll be starting tomorrow! I just need Jade (my other friend who because a consultant) to get her's...and she is going to get hers tomorrow! I'm SUPER excited!

This was a gift from Hillary! A deluxe sample size of their most-loved product the Redefine Regime! I am excited to try this out and see if I should try it out indefinitely. :) I am looking to use the Soothe Regime...but let me try with this one first. :)

And this was the last gift that I got from Hillary! She knew that I really like chap stick, so she added these lip shield chapsticks to my gift back!

I have not yet tested these products, but I am super excited to start, that's for sure! I'll try to keep posting on the results of these products. :)

How fun is that?! :)

I love seeing this shiny pink package in my mail basket! :)

This month's theme is metropolis. Hm...interesting! :) I usually check to see what I get online before my GlamBag comes since it always takes FOREVER to get to me and I can't wait...but this time I have waiting just because things have been so busy that I haven't had time to see what I got! So when I was taking these pictures, it was the first time for me seeing what I got! :)

This is my first glance picture of everything! I am excited for the nail polish and the lip gloss!

Ciaté London GELOLOGY Top Coat. When I first saw this I didn't really read the box I just opened it and took the bottle out and my heart skipped a beat when I thought that it was a metallic polish! Ahhh! I love metallic...and then I saw opened the bottle and saw that it was clear and yes, I should have read first and saw that it was a clear top coat. Oh well, I can always use a good top coat! :)

H2O+ Beauty Oasis Ultra Hydrating Cream. I like to keep these little jars of moisturizing cream in my bag in case I might need some extra hydration through out the day.

Trust Fund Beauty Lip Gloss in Blame Game. I just put some on. And I love it! It goes on sheer and leaves your lips with a nice shine of gloss! It's not sticky at all; I'm not sure how long it will last on my lips though, but I like the feeling of it. It doesn't feel drying.

Naked Cosmetics Mica Pigment in Desert Sunset #02. I love eye shadow...and I love natural colored eye shadows with a hint of shimmer...and this one is perfect! I can see myself wearing this on a daily basis.

Manna Kadar Cosmetics Paradise Blush. My go-to make up when I don't have a lot of time is mascara and blush...and I like to have a cake of blush in my bag for those times in the day where I need to look more alive! *laughs* So I like this one!

I know that I can use everything in my bag this month, so I am happy with it all! :)

So come join me on ipsy and subscribe to the Glam Bag! you get 4-5 beauty products every month delivered to your door, for just $10. Michelle Phan curates the bags! Check it out here!

Peely Pack: Colors of the Rainbow.

We all know that I absolutely love subscription boxes/mail...I just love getting mail that makes me smile and I also love to make those I love and care for smile as well, and so if I see a subscription that I think that someone I know might like, I get it for them. Maybe not for forever, but for a few months at least...and this sticker pack is my favorite that I have signed up for my niece! I love stickers. She loves stickers. And so this is PERFECT For her! And I have no qualms about it either because it's also educational! A sticker pack this is educational and fun and I love...super love...how she SHARES her stickers with her brother and her friends as well! And if there is a time where I might say, "Oh! I love that one"! She doesn't even think about it, but automatically says that I can have it! I love her heart. So, yes, I will always rave about this subscription...I love it, and you will too! Not only that, but the customer service is amazing and on it! They are one of the best that I have ever come across! They will go far with how nice and people friendly they are! And I will always tell people about this kids subscription. :)

PeelyPack is a monthly subscription "envelop" that "is full of fun...that kids can do all on their own!" According to their website, "The original PeelyPack ($11.99 ) comes with 10 sheets of awesome stickers, plenty for several sticker sessions. The FamilyPack ($19.99 ) has double the stickers-that's 20 sheets! The stickers are based on a different theme each month, and sometimes we throw in a fun surprise, too!" All the stickers come in a portable designed large activity sheet that is "perfect for coloring or using with stickers." It also has suggestions on "fun play tips to help you get your child thinking and learning. Talking over sticker play time is a great way for kids and parents to learn and bond."

This month's theme is "Colors of the Rainbow."

I love the presentation for this subscription. They made a huge activity sheet that holds all the stickers and activites so that it's super easy to bring around with you! Just slip in into your bag and be on your way!

My DollGirl loves this postcard. She uses the stickers to decorate it and the she writes a message on it for her cousin and sends it to her! My DollGirl also loves sending postcards! Awesome! A lil girl after my own heart! :) Last month I had bought an extra PeelyPack for my DollGirl for Christmas since she loves this pack, and in the pack it mentioned that there was suppose to be postcard in it...and since I read everything to her (she is only 4 and is just learning her letters still), she was super disappointed that there wasn't a postcard in the pack...and so I had written them about that. But I also said that it was okay because I had a lot of postcards to give to DollGirl that she can decorate. I just wanted to let them know in-case they were sending out some without realize that it was incomplete. But they wrote back saying that they were extremely sorry and that they would make it up to her...and they did! Like I said, amazing customer service!!

These were MY favorite sticker sheet in this pack! My niece is going to flip when she sees these! They are SUPER cute! And I love them!

I have a huge feeling that my DollGirl will be sharing these with her brother since he loves animals and loves anything that has to do with animals. She usually gives him animal things. I so love her heart! :)

I can not even say how much I love this subscription for my DollGirl! I have not yet seen her since I've gotten the pack and so I will give it to her when I see her next...but I already know that she is going to LOVE LOVE LOVE this pack...just as much as her Auntie does. :)

I would totally recommend this sticker pack for your child, or even for a fun "just because" present for any child. I guess you can make your own set, but I know that my DollGirl LOVES getting things in the mail (just like her Auntie! :)) And it was fun opening her pack with her and watching her face show the excitement I, too, was feeling in my heart. :) So, if you would like to join in with the sticker fun with us, please feel free to click here and subscribe to this fun-filled sticker subscription funness! :)

KiwiBop Postcard Pals: December 2016.

I actually got these postcards on Monday, but I kept forgetting to take pictures of them, so I am just writing this now. But I never got the postcards for last months and I figured it was because I was not at school for the past two weeks, so maybe this one is supposed to be for last month? I'm not too sure; I'll just have to wait and see if I get another package before the end of this month and then I will know for sure. :)

Kiwibop Postcard Pals is a monthly subscription that "sends awesome postcards to your child that will engage their reading skills and teach them about the world!" The membership is only $3.59/month, and you pay annually so that would be $43.08 a year, but if you use my referral link here, you will get a 10% discount! It will automatically renew yearly, however you can cancel at anytime so that you won't get billed the following year when your subscription is done for the year! When you first sign up, they will send you a Member Welcome Kit with four initial postcards for free as well as some stickers and some fun activities to do! Once you are a member, you will also have access to their online Fact Explorer, which is a very good resource for curious minds!

My preschool keikis LOVE seeing this envelope! They are always excited to get this subscription because they are so curious as to what they will see! :)

My keikis LOVED this one...they asked a lot of questions about outer space and we ended up making up stories of what we would see and do if we were outer space!

My keikis LOVE crocodiles! The animals that they are always talking about are the crocodile, shark, and the manta ray. Ever week we have chapel with the residence pastor here and part of chapel is when he brings out his "friends (puppets)"...one is a bird named Birdie and the other is a crocodile named Crocky...so yes, they are always talking about Crocky...and so when they saw this postcard with a crocodile, that was it! They all wanted to play "Crocky" and sing all the crocodile songs that we knew and make up songs about crocodiles. I love it!

I love these postcards because most likely than not they have nothing to do with the theme that we have for the month....but that is one thing you have to realize as a teacher (or anyone who is around kids) you have to be super flexible and just go with the flow. I do have a lesson plan and what should happen that day...but 75% of the time we deviate from what the original plan was. And I love it! With these postcards, it creates opportunities for the children to come up with different creative games, activities, and imaginative plays! I love it! Each postcard that they saw brings up questions and different activities ideas!

I can go on and on about the different things that you can use these postcards for...I'm just saying I think that they are a good thing. :)

So that's the monthly packet of Kiwibop Postcard Pals! I highly recommend this subscription and if you would like to subscribe your child (or other children!) with this fun, educational postcard subscription please click here for a 10% discount on your membership!
