After the Pen: Dec. 4-Dec. 10.

This week in my Passion Planner wasn't as busy as it has been in the past week, however it did feel pretty L O N G...yep, long days. This week threw me a couple curve balls, but that's okay, because I kept my head up and I survived. :) I was able to talk to my parents this week, and that always makes everything good. I miss them and I can't wait to see them again. Soon. I loved how I was able to fit in some family time and explore the Christmas decoration in town. So that was cool. I also was able to do some Christmas shopping...not yet fully done yet, but I'm getting there. :) I am also trying to get a rough draft of how I am planning my Christmas break. Well, this was a good week...yet I am glad that it has come to and end. :)

Before the Pen: Nov. 27-Dec. 03.

Here is the new layout for this week! I already know that this week will be super-extra-crazy busy! But that's okay...that means that there will be no time to be bored! :) I love the quote "Fall seven times, stand up eight" it's a quotes that I hold dear when things feel like they are falling around me...I just have to find the energy to stand up and keep going. :) During this week, it's my childhood best friend's birthday, and I remember the moments that we shared together. :) I know that also this week we will be practicing for our Christmas program for the preschool. Our Christmas program will be this Friday already! Ahhhh! I hope I survive that crazy-ness that will bring! At least it will be half day on Friday...but I have to babysit my niece after school...oh my. Oh well, I love her and we will just go home and take our nap together! *laughs* It's also the week of my Grandma who passed way a few years ago. I miss her. What else is happening this week...?! Lots and lots...I know that I want to start making/designing Christmas cards to send to my family/friends for Christmas...so lets see if I can at least make 2 a night...at least! Well, here is to the week and the crazy-ness the holidays bring! Cheers!

After the Pen: Nov. 20-Nov.26.

This week was...wow, I can't even find a word to describe this week. Let's just say that when I was on the way home after a LONG day on WEDNESDAY, I felt like it was already Friday! I am so glad that I had Thursday and Friday off...and then the weekend! :) I spent a lot of time with family and I also enjoyed that. I love my family! :) We had our thanksgiving meal at my sister's house and once again she out did herself, like she does every year! :) I did not participate in Black Friday shopping, but I did take advantage of it's sales...online. :) I did buy a TV online from Target since I did have some giftcard's to use...but did you know that you can only use 4 giftcards at one time (while online). Oh well, I could have gotten a TV for "free" if that wasn't the case...with all the giftcards and the deals that Black Friday brings...but oh well, that's okay, at least I still have some balance in my Target account. And I did splurge a little on some stickers that were on sale on StickiiClub...but other than that, I spent time either with my family or at the beach...which was much needed. I try to go to the ocean at least once a day, however it ranges from 5 mins to a few hours...and usually during the work week, I only have a few minutes to spare to be at the beach...but because I had a break from work, I had the time to spend a few hours at the beach with my book! :) I loved it! I also go to talk to my parents for a few minutes after not hearing from them for 2 months...so that was good! I loved that. They are coming home for a few months next year and I'm super looking forward to that! :)

After the Pen: Nov. 013-Nov.19.

Here is my Passion Planner "after the pen." This week was more draining than normal...but that's okay. We all have weeks like that. I feel like my preschool keikis know that a break is coming up and so they were extra wild and crazy this week. Then again that's a normal thing for them! And one of the reasons why I LOVE teaching the 2-3 year olds! :) Lets see here, what were the highlights of this week?! Oh yeah! I really loved seeing the super moon! I went walking up Makapu'u Lighthouse Trail Sunday night and even though it wasn't the "true" super moon...it was still super amazing to see! Oh my goodness... I just love the moon! It's so beautiful and the way that it makes a silvery trail in the water! I love it! I can see why people would describe it (and believe it to be) magical. Oh my goodness, there was a ukus happening in our school. For those of you who don't know what ukus is, it's HEAD LICE! Oh my days! That was yesterday, Friday, so at least we have the weekend to clean up...and for me extra because that same day (Friday) a parent called me to say that their child had Hand-Foot-Mouth...and so I SUPER clean my classroom because of that. And then another little girl (not from my class) got pneumonia. So our school was hit with 3 grand slams...and a teacher was out for the majority of the week (due to sickness) so it was a tough week. But hey look, it's the end of the week, I'm about to turn into bed and I survived. I saw this quote online that went something like this, "Update: You have survived 100% of the worst days of your life." I like that. I have survived this week..and I'm eager and ready to start next week! :)

This quote kept going through my mind whenever I was hit with a "plot twist" this week: "Chin up princess or the crown will fall." Gotta keep that crown on! :)

Sparkles of Stickers: November 2016.

 I came home to several packages waiting for me at my doorstep and right on top of everything was my pink envelope and I was super excited to open it to see what amazing planner kits I got this month!

Sparkles of Stickers is a monthly planner sticker subscription that costs $15/month (plus s/h). You get 2 full weekly spread kits for your Erin Condren Life Planner, however although I don't own one (it's not really my style, but I hear it's a nice planner!) I can still use it for my Passion Planner (that's the main planner that I plan to use these stickers with). The envelopes are sent out on the first of the month and you get a tracking number to track your envelope.

Pink is my favorite color and so I get so happy when I see anything pink in my mail basket/doorstep for me! :)

And there are my two planner sticker kits that I got this month! I am already loving the first kit colors!

Do you see the hot air balloons! I love it! I super love it! And I also love the middle full box sticker...I love seeing fall leaves since I don't get much of that here in Hawai'i. It's times like this that I miss living in a place where it actually has the 4 seasons. But I'm not complaining...just saying that I miss it at times. :)

The planner that I usually use these kits in starts on Sunday, so I'm unable to use the weekend banner...I'm not sure I like that or not...but that's okay, I can always use them in other projects of mine.

I do appreciate that these kits are always the same styles, since I tend to do up my planner in similar ways...and I know that I can use at least this one kit for two weeks...if I feel like it. I do like the colors, but I do tend to like brighter colors, but that's okay. :)

I love when the holidays are here! And look, CHRISTMAS WREATHS! :) I honestly though I drop the decor sticker sheet. I looked all over the floor for it and even in the pink envelope and at each sheet...but there was none...so I did write Alitzah (the founder of Sparkles of Stickers) and she replied really fast! But sadly, there was no decor sticker sheet with this kit this month. :(

I really like the top middle full box sticker...they are just gold little, tiny, cute stars on a white background...so simple, but I really love it! :)

I wasn't a big fan of this kit that much...but that's okay, I know that I can either split it up to the colors that I like together. I do like how it's Christmas-y, but not bam-in-your-face Christmas-y.

And there are the two kits that I got. I have to say that the colors do look a bit washed out...but maybe that is the look that she was going for this month. And both kits have similar colors to each other. Plus, I tend to like the more brighter colors...I do like how you can feel the holiday feeling to both of them...and I know that I can get at least 4 weekly spreads with these two kits since I don't do the whole "no-white-space" designing in my planner. But I still like this subscription. :)

Weekly Planner Layout: 6-12

Here is this week's layout spread. I used more of my Sparkles of Stickers subscription stickers and some sticker's from my this month's Pipsticks sticker pack. I think that it turned out super cute! :) I was trying to sleep-in today, but my body just woke up and didn't want to stay in bed...and so here I am posting this and then I'm going to get my shit done for the day! :) Here's to this week and filling out this weekly spread with things I need to do and CHECKING IT OFF! :)

After the Pen: Oct. 30-Nov. 5.

So here is my daily planner after the pen...after this crazy week! I wouldn't have it any other way though because I like knowing that I have full days ahead of me. When my break time comes, I will have my break, but for now I am just chugging away through the days and crossing off the things that I've done! I love seeing a fully checked off list...and looking back at the week and knowing that I did it! :) I still have to work on my sleeping habits though! Oh well, at least I'm more conscious of it!

Weekly Planner Layout, 30-5.

I know that things are going to be crazy around here...not only with me but with everything around me. And I am trying to keep on top of things so that I won't get piled up and get too stressed out. But if ever that is the case, I always have the ocean. A few minutes of just being near the amazing power of the ocean, I feel like I can take anything. :) But for now, my planners keep in check. :)

So this is the planner that I use as my daily planner. I love my Passion Planner. And although it's on the pricey side (at least for me), it is so worth it. I know that I'll be sad as the year comes to an end though because I have been loving this planner for the year!

One thing that I do like about this planner is that it's simple and that it doesn't have color to clash with what you want to design it with. And it's so design-able...you can customize it to how it's best for you. I like color...and I like designing for whatever season and/or holiday that is happening. I also like to craft and make things "pretty" and so that is why I like to add some color to my planner. I don't understand how those to follow the whole "no white spaces" planners...I feel as if I wouldn't have any room to write what I need to write! But hats off to them for being able to do that. At least for me I will stick to what work for me. :)

I really love the Sparkles of Stickers subscription...it gives me enough stickers to design several layouts in my planner and still have some left over to use for other things and even to save for next year maybe. :) But for now...this is my layout for this week. It's going to be Halloween tomorrow and so I love how this one has that holiday feel to it...:) I also used some stickers from my Pipsticks subscription. Well, here is to the new week and to filling this week out!

After the Pen Oct. 23-Oct. 29

This is my daily planner "after the pen." It was a pretty crazy week this week...and I know that it's only going to get even crazier the closer we get to the holiday season! As much as I think it would be fun to have those "no white planners" where there is no white showing in a planner, but only stickers or something...I don't think that that would be very helpful to me. I do love decorating all my planners...but I know that I would need a lot more room to write, than just having it covered in stickers and only have a very limited place to write. :) But as this week is coming to a close...I like to see how I was able to cross off nearly all the things that I needed to remember and/or get done. I love that feeling. :)

Weekly Planner Layout, 23-29.

I'm ready to start a new week! I love this layout in my Passion Planner! I used the second kit that I got in my Sparkles of Stickers subscription this month and some Pipstick sticker's here and there! And I really do love how it turned out! I love the fall feeling to it...it's my favorite season, and we don't get to experience it here in Hawai'i. Oh well...I'm not complaining, but I do miss my fall season! I'm up and ready to fill out this weeks events and happenings!

Weekly Planner Layout 16-22.

I have gotten asked a few times from friends why I don't share my planner layouts. I just don't. I have way too many planner/journals to do something like that...but then I decided, if I do so with just one of my planners...I don't mind. :) I usually like to make my layouts for the month in the beginning of the month and just add from there. So, near the end of the previous month, I like to sit down with the majority of my planners and journals and just take a few hours here and there to make layouts for all of them. This one that I am going to share with you is the layout from my Passion Planner, the planner that is usually always with me. I have subscribed to Sparkles of Stickers and so this is the first time that I have used her stickers in any of my planners. And I have to say that I really like it! I don't really do the whole "no-white" layouts, but I do like color, so that is why I do my layouts the way that I do. :) I also subscribe to Pipsticks, and I used some of the stickers that I got from there. :)

So, this is my layout for this week. I don't like covering everything, because I tend to write everything down...so I want room to write things as they come along. I am still debating whether or not I should post a picture of my week "after the pen." Since this is my main planner, I do have a lot of personal things written down, so I might just do only "before the pen" pictures. Although I do write down the things that I already know is happening for sure. But yep, here is me sharing my first "before the pen" layout of my main planner. :)

New Subscription: Sparkles of Stickers October 2016.

I got my first pink envelope from Sparkles of Stickers! This is my first subscription to anything that is planner related (I don't count all my sticker subscription as planner related because they are specifically geared to planners, but you can use them in decorating your planners, but it's not really a "real" planner subscription). I really wanted to try out a planner subscription...and I did look at a lot of them. There are a lot of subscriptions that have a lot of other things added, but I really just wanted the planner stickers (I would like more washi tape, though. That stuff is EXPENSIVE here in Hawai'i!). So I ran across Sparkles of Stickers in my search and really liked what I saw. Plus, I had written the shop owner (I found her on CrateJoy, and then learned more about her and her husband on Etsy.) and her reply was really fast and really nice and professional. And too, I really like her designs. They are fun and cutesy, the way that I like it! :)

I got my stickers in this pink bubble envelope. I actually got this envelope on the 6th of this month, but didn't have time to write a review on it until now. But when I checked my tracking I was suppose to get it on the 8th, so I am so happy that it came early! I am glad that even though I live in Hawai'i, it didn't take a long time to get to me, like it usually does with other subscriptions. :( But not this one!

The stickers come in a clear plastic envelope. All nice and wrapped up. :) Simple presentation. I like that.

The first kit looks to be a fall theme. Which is nice! It is fall right now...and so this will be a fun theme to have! Here are two thick washi strips and a cute amount of deco stickers. I know that I can cut the washi tape smaller and thinner to my liking, so I like that. :)

Here are full boxes. I love the different colored patters they used! And the color scheme is so much fun!

Half boxes and a weekend banner. I absolutely love my Passion Planner. I just wish that it was a Monday start instead of a Sunday start. I have several cute weekend banners, but I  can't even use them since my weekend days a split up. But that's okay. I'll get to use them eventually. Or in my other planners.

These are the "Little Things" stickers. I have to figure out how I want to use these ones. But again, I love this color scheme going on. I just love fall!

Here are headers and cute, cute heart checklists. I love the heart checklists! Those are so cute!

And that is the first set! So it looks like each set is 8 sheets of stickers. Wow...that's a good amount!

The second full kit that this came in looks to be Halloween themed. Fun! It looks like the same layout as the other set, but in a different theme. I like that. I love the owl sitting on top of the pumpkin! He's soooo cute!

Another fun set to use!

Sixteen sheets of planner sticker sheets all in all! I think that this is a really good deal! I know that the "No white space" thing is pretty popular in planners now, but I don't care for that. I just like to decorate my planners fun and pretty. I think that if I do it right I can actually use these two kits for the whole month. I have already did my weekly layout for this week though so I won't be able to use these cute kits until next week. I think how I am going to do it is I'll use each months kit for the last 3 weeks of the month and the first week of the next month. Since they don't get shipped out until the 1st of the month, I know that I won't be able to use them until the second week anyways. I can't wait to use them! I know that I'll be using these planner stickers with the other stickers that I'll be getting with my other subscriptions! I'll try to post up my weekly spreads on the beginning of each month "before the pen" and if there isn't too much personal stuff on, I'll also post up "after the pen."
