For my keiki.

This year has been so busy...I really can not believe that it's already nearly Valentine's Day...and I have a huge dilemma! At least HAD a huge dilemna...I still kind of do in a way, but whatever happens happens. So what was my dilemma?! Well, our party story closed last month (Price Busters) and so I had no idea what to get my keiki for Valentine's Day! I usually like to make treats/crafts for them for the holidays...but this Valentines Day is creeping up on me and I have no idea where to go to make something for my keiki.

It's so unfortunate that Price Busters has to closed down...I'm already miss my Dollar Store/Tree of the mainland because I see a lot of crafts/projects that I want to do...but we don't have those stores here! We don't even have Michaels! How do you survive without that craft store?! Well...at least we have Ben Franklin's...and I am a member there...and I go there plenty times...however it's super expensive there. Anyway, I had to do some fast brain storming on what to do for my keiki this year.

I still am not sure that I agree with what I'm doing...but it's for the kids...and so I went both healthy and non-healthy...candy is SO not the way to go...but I limited myself on what I got them.

I was told last minute that I might have a child walk-in on that day...and I was so not prepared for that! So I didn't want him to feel left out...so I made something for him, although I did run out of lollipops...hence the reason why the last one does not have not have a lollipop!

I used light pink tissue paper and cellophane to wrap it up and used red, pink, and purple to tie it. I then made each of my keiki a personalized card.

I also am planning a "friendship" party for them. We're making personal pizzas...and then having carrot sticks....and since they love making fruit smoothies...I am going to bring my Magic Bullet and we're all going to make smoothies!

Shirena also bought two really nice bubble machines and we're going to have a bubble party and we are preparing flowers for them to bring home. I hope that our keiki's know that we love them. I love all my kids so much...and I will never stop saying that it is a huge blessing to be able to work and spend time with each and everyone of them.

FLY away with me.

My nails really needed some TLC...so I sat down and really cleaned my nails and shaped them. I was going to let them remain unpainted for at least one day...but after a few hours I couldn't stand how my nails weren't painted! So since this is the month of Love...I was able to use my go-to colors without any guilt!

Look at that?! They aren't blue...AND they aren't butterflies! I did get the request again for them to be butterflies from my keiki...but I wanted a different color already...so I asked her another color...and this is what she said, "Fine, Aunty, you can do dots." *laughs* Not a color...but I can work with that request! :) So here I present you, in my favorite go-to colors (pink, black, while, silver) FLY Away With Me....

Opening Olympics.

Oh wow...this week is coming to an end! I barely survived! It has been really rainy lately and so my kids and I have been staying inside...but we did it! I did have a few temper tantrums...but all in all, I'm pretty proud of my keiki for sticking it out. Our curriculum this month is about farm life and love & friendship. So all week were doing all these farm related things...and it was SOO cute! I need to take a picture of the things that we made so that I can show you! It's so adorbs! :)

Well, when I made it home, Amanda told me that she was going to go to town to my sisters house so that she can watch the opening of the 2014 Winter Olympics...and so I tagged along and brought my lil DollGirl a present that my friend had gotten her...look at her opening it...they were really cute clothes...DollGirl was so cute!

The opening of the Winter Olympics was LONG! I think this was the first time that I actually sat through the whole thing...! I mean it was pretty nice and everything...I like light shows and so it was al ot of that...and so it was nice...but it was SO long!

But that's okay, because I was able to spend time with family...and in the end that is all that matters...family.

My Favorite!

Oh okay, I know that I have such a sweet tooth...but I actually am very picky with what goes in my mouth...and you know what sucks?! Seasonal candy. Last year I didn't get to get any of my favorite valentine's candy because they sold out so fast...so this year, I went super early and got myself a bag of {one of my} favorite candy!!

I seriously do not know anyone else who really, truly likes this candy...I hear that it's "chalky" but really, it's not! At least not to me! These only come around once a year...and bam, they are gone until next year...last year, like I said earlier, I wasn't able to get any...so this year, right after work I went to Safeway and grabbed me a bag. Now to work on my self control and only eat a little bit at a time! *laughs*

I hope that tomorrow we can go to the playground with my keiki. Today was pretty rough staying in all day long...! Don't get me wrong, I still love and care for my 2 year olds...but it's times like this I with I had that super power of weather control. I'll just make sure it won't rain above my little ones when we go out to play. *laughs*

Surprise!

I try not to hate on Monday...it never did anything to me...but sometimes I think Mondays hate me! *laughs* It was a typical Monday...but something was a little different...I started with a smile on my face, like I do-at least I TRY to start it with- and guess what?! It ended with a smile too! Check it out.

At the end of the day, I walked to my locker in the break room to get my bag to go on home....

...and when I opened it...look what I found?!

Now tell me, wouldn't that make you smile too?! :)

What a day!

What a day it was! I didn't get to play football...I ended watching DollGirl...she was a bit fussy...but it's okay...because I love spending time with her. The day was amazing beautiful though! The field was pretty muddy though because of the rain that we have been  getting. It was funny though because Amanda and I went and we were walking towards the field but when we stepped on the field we were like...whoops EWWW! And we froze! I was carrying DollGirl...and she was looking at me like why aren't you moving?! Uhm, coz my foot when squish...and I was grossed out. I absolutely hate when my feet get dirty. Like super hate it! But I was like, I'm going to do this...I may be girlie like that...but I can suck it up....and get dirty to!  :)

I ended throwing the football with my brothers while waiting for everyone to come and play. And I did get pretty muddy. It was not fun...but it was. I loved just playing catch with my brothers...I remember playing with my daddy...and I miss him a lot. Anyways, the boys came and they split into teams and I played with DollGirl.

When we got back to my sisters house, DollGirl went down for a nap and so did I. I still am not fully recovered from my near death illness...and so I took an hour nap before the Super Bowl...but you know what?! I should have just stayed sleep. The game...wow. Only one team came...so congrats to them...they wanted to win, so they did...I'm not sure where the Denver Broncos went...wherever it was...it sure wasn't to the game! I have say that the half time show with Bruno Mars and Red Hot Chili Peppers was pretty sick though. I loved it. The best part of the show...*laughs* well, and the muchies was pretty addicting to as well...*laughs*

We didn't even make it to the end of the game...we changed it...we watched something else...something about Alaska documentary...*laughs* yes, we were that bored! *laughs* Amanda and Jeremy went out and got us Taste Tea...and I got my "usual" Taiwan Melon Tea with Lemonade with only 70% sugar...with BIG boba...none of those tiny boba...those make me unexpectedly choke...it was a yummy treat.

After we bummed around a bit, we walked around Waikiki and just enjoyed the sunset at the beach...I think I will always be grateful that I live on this beautiful island in the middle of the ocean...so blessed to have made it out here.

Lazy Day.

Before I forget and the day is done let me take this moment to say:
RABBIT, RABBIT!!! :)

I ended up going to my sister's place this weekend...and wow! My DollGirl has grown! I feel like I haven't seen her in such forever! I rarely ever go a few days without seeing her...but these past few days has been so mad busy with both jobs and I really need to crack down more on studying if I want to graduate early. I have no complaints though...because I still have life in me...so I can do this.

But sometimes it just gets SO hard...and I think my body tells me to slow down by making me deathly ill. *laughs* So maybe I might be exaggerating just a little...but not by much! This last Wednesday and Thursday it was everything and more in me to get up and just move. I had to constantly remind my self through out the day that I had to keep moving...my keiki helped me a lot...they are so loving and I love them. Today is the first day that I don't feel like death is trying to take over my body!

Early this morning my sister came to my house and told me to get ready, we are going to her house. Say what?! It was a little past 7 in the morning...and come on now, I just wanted to sleep in after a really exhausting physically week! But oh okay...I was going to go there anyways, but LATER in the afternoon...but since she said that she was going to go church in Aiea...I was going to veg out on her couch watching netflix of something.

Guessed what I finally watched?!

Do you know what moving that is?! Well, if you guessed The Croads then you are right...and you know what?! I really did like it...it was cute! It made me smile...and I have to admit that it made me teary eyed at some points...seriously though, I would give up using chapstick a whole week just to give my daddy a hug right now. I miss him so much...and so yes, that part made me teary-eyed.

And before you got on saying what?! Really?! Chapstick...?! I swear that I have not met anyone that was as addicted to chapstick as I am! I seriously will go through anxiety attacks if I do not have one on my person at all times. That is no joke. When I leave the house...it is my chapstick that I would most likely take with me. No. Joke.

But yes, I had a lazy day. And I enjoyed it. Tomorrow...football. I haven't played in YEARS! And the the Super Bowl...lets see how that goes!

Goodnight.
