Love from Belarus.

This beautiful postcard traveled 32 days to get to me from Belarus. I really like this postcard because it's like this girl is dreaming of the sea...and that is so me! I dream of the sea as well...and I wish I was a part of the sea! :) If only I had a choice to be a mermaid! Just joking...but it still would be cool! But I love how this girl has fish in her hair as if she is of the sea. :)

An elephant from Germany.

I love this postcard sent to me from a friend in Germany! :) I love how the edges aren't straight but has a different kind of an edge than normal postcards. I know that you can't really tell from the pictures, but I adore how the postcard is full on glittery and there is an elephant front and center! I also appreciate the flowers and the beautiful lettering of the postcard! And the best part of the postcard, the sweet, extremely sweet message that was written on it. :)

One Lone Postcard.

Thirty-seven days ago Cathy sent me this postcard from Taiwan! I love it! I love night shots...and this silhouette of this tree against the night sky with a lighted building in the background is so beautiful! She wrote that she was excited the "most important festival of the year-Lunar New Year" and that she celebrates with a family reunion and some traditional food. I hoe that she has an awesome time! :)

Greetings from Canada!

I super enjoy this adorable polar bear postcard from Canada! I love also how the postcrosser added some facts about the polar bear! That was really sweet of the postcrosser! It also only took 10 days to get to me! Awesome! :) I love Canada...and I hope that one day I can visit there!

From Phlippines.

Yay! I finally got a postcard! All month long I have been waiting for a postcard, and none ever came. :( But today, TODAY, I got one! And I am super excited to finally get a postcard!

So, it seems as if I got a postcard penpal. This postcard is from Melissa...and she has claimed that she wants to be postcard pen pals...and it's a challenge for me, because I love to decorate my postcards...but I can't decorate hers since there is so much that I want to write! I think I am going to find larger postcards to write her with...but this is the postcard that she sent me! I love it! It's nice to get something from the Philippines. I feel like there is so much of my history there since my parent are from there. But I am glad fror this postcard. :)

Out-going postcards.

So at one time, a bunch of my postcards reached their destination, and so I got to have some fun sending some postcards out! I love choosing postcards for each person and personalizing them on the back! It's fun and I love the fact that a part of me is traveling around the world! How awesome is that?! :)

This time I had SIX postcards going out...and just looking at all these beautiful postcards makes me feel so happy I live where I live! I never knew that I could love this place so much! But I hope to never take advantage of this beautiful island where I live! :)

This first postcard will be traveling in style in a bright pink envelope! Camilla of Sweden asked if her postcard could be sent in an envelope, and so of course I had to decorate the envelope as well! :)

Camilla wrote that she would like "old fashioned, vintage style ads (no modern ads or free cards), so I think that this is a perfect postcard for her! :) She also asked that "if there's some mythology connected to your region or city where you live, I'ld be very interested in reading about it." So I wrote and told her about our little Menehunes that we have running around! :) I hope you enjoy this postcard, Camilla!

This postcard will be on it's way to Russia to a gentleman named Valery. He didn't write very much on his profile, but that he would be "glad of any card." And so I decided to give him this one! I love the view of Sandy's and I hope that he will like it too! Oh, he also said that he liked trains, and so I had to put a train full of santa's on his postcard! :) Enjoy Valery! :)

This postcard will be sent to Hannelore in Germany. She wrote, "I also like very much surprises, so any card that you want to send me, wold make me happy." So I love this postcard, so I hope that this one will also make her happy! She mentioned that she liked to garden so I decorated her postcard with some gardening washi tape! :) I hope this postcard makes her smile! :)

This Sandy Beach postcard will be staying here in the States, but will be making it's way to the Mainland in Virginia to be exact. I can't imagine just how cold it is there right now! I chose this card for Robin because she mentioned that she loved to hike in the mountains...so I decided to give her this postcard since it has the mountains for her...and it has the ocean for me. :) I hope she enjoys this beautiful view of our mountains and of the beach!

This beautiful plumeria postcard will be going to Yuekun in China. She wrote that she wanted a postcard with flowers on it (well, it was one suggestion on her list of postcards that she wanted) and she didn't want a multi-view postcard, and so I chose this one for her. She asked if we would "write me 'Hello!' in your language!" Well, I speak English and we say, "Hello" but I did tell her how here in Hawai'i we say "Aloha"...even though it's more than a greeting. I hope she likes this postcard!

This multi-view postcard will actually be sent to a secondary school in Szczecinek, which is north west of Poland. I think that it's pretty awesome that this English Class is having a postcrossing project that sends and receives postcard from all around! They will collect all the postcards that they will recieve and make a presentation with them! :) I chose this postcard since it shows several awesome views of this beautiful island, and I also wrote some facts about Hawai'i! I hope they like it! :)

From Russia.

This postcard that traveled 35 days from Russia has got to be one of my top favorite postcards! I love it! It says "music" in the Russian language and I love how unique it looks! The young lady who sent it to me, Ksenia, wrote that she to "adores" music and that this was her first postcard that she has sent to Hawai'i! I feel as if she and I would have connected and would have had a long conversation had she lived (or I lived) nearer. I love the way that she decorated the postcard as well...she fade stamped it with cute hearts and then added gold stars on white washi on it! So beautiful! She also wrote that she loved Adele and her song Hello...and when I registered her card, I told her that I really love how music can connect people because that song also has a deep meaning with me! Ksenia is another young lady I feel like I would get along with had we met in person...I am glad that I got this music themed postcard from her. It's beautiful. :)

From China.

This beautiful postcard traveled 32 days from China to get to me from a young lady who is studying in a university in Beijing. That is such a beautiful night skyline...and I love how it's reflecting off of the water! :) She said that this is the first time that she is sending a postcard to Hawai'i...so that's pretty cool! :) Thank you for the beautiful postcard! :)

From Russia.

This thoughtful postcard traveled 22 days to get to me from Russia! Natalya shared that she loved watching the TV Series Hawaii 5-0...and enjoyed the "beautiful nature, and most importantly warm all year round!!" She wrote that it was her dream to come here to Hawai'i. One thing thing that I appreciated about Natalya was when I registered that postcard and thank her for the postcard, she wrote me back! Usually when I wrote someone to thank them for the card, they don't write back, but she did, and I think that was super awesome! She also expressed happiness that I got her postcard since it was the first one that she sent out. That was pretty cool! :) I love the postcard...and I adore the stamps!! Polar Bear and Woolly Mammoth! :)

Direct Swap from Italy.

This yummy looking mint chocolate chip postcard is from Laura of Italy! This was a direct swap postcard that we decided on in August...and so I'm glad that I got this postcard! She wrote that during the summer she likes to prepare ice-cream and her favorite is the mint one...hey! Me, too! :) Thank you, Laura, for the onolicious looking postcard! :)

Card from Netherlands.

This gorgeous card traveled 20 days from Netherlands from a very sweet lady named Karin. I was surprised because I like postcards from my postcrossing fellows, but the fact that she put the time and thought into making this card for me because she really liked my name means a lot. She said that she likes to make cards for people around the world so that they can smile when they open the envelope. I'm not sure how I feel about getting cards when I expect postcards from Postcrossing...but I'm not a hater, and I do appreciate the fact that Karin made this for me. She also took the time to write a sweet message in the card...and it's pink, so how can I NOT like it! :) She mentioned that her daughter will be getting married next year and asked if I had any tips for her...and so I just told her to tell her daughter to enjoy being engaged and to not get to caught up in all the wedding-planning drama. Enjoy it. :) She also wrote that she enjoyed traveling and that she had been to Orlando, FL...and really enjoyed it. I'm glad that she was able to come to my country and enjoy herself. I love my country as well. But I have to admit, it would be pretty awesome if I could visit the Netherlands one day...oh, those flower fields! :)

Direct Swap from Berlin.

This postcard was from Dominik from Berlin! I love it! I wish so bad that I can afford to travel! I came across this one quotes that said, "If traveling were free, you would never find me!" I would love to visit Berlin one day. I bet just walking around this beautiful city, I can see and learn so much...from talking to people and visiting the different places it has to offer! Thank you, Dominik, for the lovely postcard with fun stamps! I love the flower one! :)

From Czech Republic.

I didn't have time to post about this fun postcard that I got on Saturday,  and so I am doing this now. :)

Twelve days ago, Misa sent me this super fun postcard from Czech Republic! I love how she wrote a lot on the postcard! I usually get a quick message in bigger font and then that's it...but this one was written in smaller font and a lot...and I like that a lot! I guess it can get hard to figure out what to write to a total stranger...so I understand. :) But Misa wrote that she was a teacher as well and she liked a lot of stuff that I was interested in too! One thing that I saw that we definitely were the same about was that she mentioned that she did not like spiders and waking up early in the morning. Hey, that sounds like ME! :) She also told me that she made a Postcrossing account for her classroom...and so I told her that I didn't mind sending her class a postcard from my preschool class! I think that that would be fun! :)

I love love love that stamps that she used! How beautiful are they! I super love them! The picture does not do them justice either...they are just so beautiful...

And I think that that was really sweet that she added some stickers to my postcard since I did mention on my Postcrossing profile that I love stickers. I like nice people! And Misa seems like a nice person. :) Thank you, Misa, I LOVE my postcard, stamps, and thoughtful message! :)

From Lithuania.

This fun postcard of the beautiful orca took 49 days to get to me from Lithuania. Vaiva is a young teen girl who lives near the Baltic Sea. I love how she loves Christmas...I love the holiday season, and now that I am "home" I love it even better. :) But this young lady also loves watching T.V., reading books, and exploring new places. (Hey! Same here!) She mentioned on her postcard that she dreams of being a teacher...which I think is SUPER awesome! Thank you, Vaiva! I love my postcard!

From Slovenija.

This beautiful, beautiful postcard comes to me from Katja of Slovenia. I believe that is the first postcard that I have gotten from this gorgeous country! I am and ocean-loving person through and through, but I also love nature in general and I have to say that this picture of the mountains is breathtaking...especially since Katja wrote that she hiked this mountain! Her and her husband hiked two days and spent the night in these mountains. And I think that that is amazing. :) This postcard took 13 days get to me and I am so happy that I received it. Thank you, Katja!

From Deutschland.

"Breast is Best" ELEPHANTS! My goodness, I just love elephants! They are just super cute...look at the baby elephant! :) And I have to say that I do agree with the whole "Breast is Best". :) This postcard took 11 days to get to me from Theda of north-west Germany. Theda mentioned that she also likes elephants and is also trying to find as many elephants "as possible." She is also a midwife and wrote that this card is "related to my job, which I like very much." I also appreciate the fact that she added a flower sticker on the card as well! So sweet!

To Australia.

This is the second postcard that I'm going to be sending to Michelle in Australia. She had asked for two specific postcards and even though this one isn't the one she specifically asked for, she said that this one was okay to send this one since it was very similar to the one that she wanted. I told her a little bit more about me and how I moved here to Hawai'i about 6 years ago. I also told her the reason why I decided to stay here. I hope that she likes this postcard!

From Italy.

I received this beautiful postcard, with glitter on it too!, from Erika of Italy! A few weeks back she asked if I would do a direct swap with her and I agreed and I sent her a postcard and this is the postcard that she sent me! She lives in this ancient town of Arezzo, near Florence. She said that this town is full of history...so this is definitely a place I would LOVE to visit! I want to visit places with a lot of history! You can learn a lot! I love this postcard, so thank you Erika! :)
