My Little Monster.

Today at the preschool we allowed the children to come in their costumes, as long as there were no weapon props, or any"questionable" costumes. I loved seeing all the Disney princess, super heroes, and we had plenty of firefighters this year! My DollGirl came running into my classroom excited to show me her costume...and all I saw was a black outfit. So when she asked me to guess what she was I replied with, "a ninja?!"...and she gave me the most fiercest face and said, "I'm a MONSTER!" In my defense, she did NOT have her tail on...and her hood was down and she was just showing me the front of her costume which was all black...and so I didn't know!! :) That was when her dad walked in and showed me her tail and tied it on, and she put on her hood and turned around...

Yep, my sister is super talented. :) She made DollGirl's and KaiBoy's "monster" costume...and I was happy to see KaiBoy in his monster costume because my sister came by to the school later on in the day and he was running around with his tail...SUPER CUTE! :)

This is her showing me her monster face...gah, I just love her SO much! :)

Such a sill monster, she is! :) But do you see what I mean?! When you look at her from the front, she looks like a ninja! Oh well, she came be a ninja monster...:)

And YES! I was able to stock up on Vampire Blood! :) Be safe everyone! Happy Halloween! :)

Weekly Planner Layout, 30-5.

I know that things are going to be crazy around here...not only with me but with everything around me. And I am trying to keep on top of things so that I won't get piled up and get too stressed out. But if ever that is the case, I always have the ocean. A few minutes of just being near the amazing power of the ocean, I feel like I can take anything. :) But for now, my planners keep in check. :)

So this is the planner that I use as my daily planner. I love my Passion Planner. And although it's on the pricey side (at least for me), it is so worth it. I know that I'll be sad as the year comes to an end though because I have been loving this planner for the year!

One thing that I do like about this planner is that it's simple and that it doesn't have color to clash with what you want to design it with. And it's so design-able...you can customize it to how it's best for you. I like color...and I like designing for whatever season and/or holiday that is happening. I also like to craft and make things "pretty" and so that is why I like to add some color to my planner. I don't understand how those to follow the whole "no white spaces" planners...I feel as if I wouldn't have any room to write what I need to write! But hats off to them for being able to do that. At least for me I will stick to what work for me. :)

I really love the Sparkles of Stickers subscription...it gives me enough stickers to design several layouts in my planner and still have some left over to use for other things and even to save for next year maybe. :) But for now...this is my layout for this week. It's going to be Halloween tomorrow and so I love how this one has that holiday feel to it...:) I also used some stickers from my Pipsticks subscription. Well, here is to the new week and to filling this week out!

After the Pen Oct. 23-Oct. 29

This is my daily planner "after the pen." It was a pretty crazy week this week...and I know that it's only going to get even crazier the closer we get to the holiday season! As much as I think it would be fun to have those "no white planners" where there is no white showing in a planner, but only stickers or something...I don't think that that would be very helpful to me. I do love decorating all my planners...but I know that I would need a lot more room to write, than just having it covered in stickers and only have a very limited place to write. :) But as this week is coming to a close...I like to see how I was able to cross off nearly all the things that I needed to remember and/or get done. I love that feeling. :)

Postcards for ME!

It has been awhile since I received any postcards...and so I was excited to see that today I had some waiting for me when I looked in my mail basket! :) Well, I got one postcard mailed to me, and then I got an enveloped addressed to me. But I had a feeling that it was just some postcards that was sent in an envelope, which I didn't mind. I was super excited to see what i got!

This was the envelope that I received from Michelle of Australia. It felt fairly thick and so I knew that there were several postcards in there. I have to admit that I was pretty surprised to see that it was not only one or two...but FOUR postcards! And it was from a direct swap that I agreed to from Australia! I know for sure that I am going to be sending this lady another postcard as a thank you for all the postcards that she sent me! I was so happily shocked to receive so many!

This first postcard that I pulled out was a picture of the beautiful city of Adelaide, Australia. I hope one day that I can come here and explore this fascinating city! I have a few friends who live there and I would LOVE to see them again! Michelle said that this was her favorite postcard. :)

This second postcard from Michelle was this beautiful picture of the Great Barrier Reef. Oh, I hope one day I could come here and just explore this part of the ocean! I think that that would be amazing! I would love to go there and just swim in that beautiful blue green water.

The third postcard from Michelle was this beautiful wild Australia flower one. It looks like a drawing of some sort...and a beautiful one at that! I love the pionk!

This last post card that Michelle sent me was a thank you postcard...and its super cute! I adore the message on the front, "I believe I can fly: Believe that you were born for greatness." She seems like a real sweet person. On her profile she said that she didn't want to do direct swaps with people, so I am glad that she wrote me and asked to do some with me. She seems like a real nice person. :)

This gorgeous, peaceful looking postcard is from Sven of Germany. It took 9 days to get to me and I like how he mention that he, too, is a full time teacher. He also mentioned that we live in different places...he lives in a place that has "vast forests...remote." But I enjoy the fact that he is a teacher. I believe that teachers have a different kind of heart...a super good heart...but I might be biased a bit. :)

Firefighters to the Rescue!

Today the firefighters came to our school to show us their trucks and tells us about what they do. They also told us about fire safety and how to stay safe in general. I always get nervous whenever there is a field trip--in-house field trip or out of school field trip. Although I adore this age, early 2 year olds, it's still very nerve-wrecking when I have to take my little darlings out of the "safe zone" of the school campus, because 2 year olds, as we all know, can be very, very unpredictable. I believe that "my" keikis are very well behave, and today they proved to me that my beliefs were true. :) I am so proud of them. Not only did my darlings sit through the whole demonstration, but they listened to me while we went around the trucks and explored the different sections that the firefighters were showing us.

I liked how he put on their fire uniforms on...and then while his mask was on, he encouraged the children to give him a high-five to show them that even though they have a mask, and they might sound a bit scary, they are safe. I liked how he did that just in-case something happens and they have to go into a burning building to get a child and their masks might make them look scary...the children know not to run away from them to be know that they are a safe person to run to.

It was SUPER cute because the children were super fascinated with the huge wheel cap of the tire! They could see their reflection in it and they were loving it!

I love the 2 year old age. I love how they are so curious, how they enjoy learning something new. For the most part, at least my 2 year olds, this was their first time being this close to a firetruck...and it was so fun to watch their appreciation for the firefighters grow. I have a little boy in my class telling me that he wants to be a firefighter when he grows up...and I know that if he puts his mind to it, he will! It was pretty cool because my assistant actually knew the Fire Chief and so after the other classes left, we stayed a bit longer and interacted more with the firefighters, shot the hose, stand in the truck, and even hear the siren...it was a magical moment for my darlings, and I have to say, that I am so proud of them. They are, after all, my darlings. :)

Kiwibop Postcard Pals October 2016.

My darling keikis were very excited to see that our month of Kiwibop educational postcards came! They did very good at sitting still during circle time as we went through our routine and finally open the envelope that everyone had a chance to hold during our learning session.

Kiwibop Postcard Pals is a monthly subscription that "sends awesome postcards to your child that will engage their reading skills and teach them about the world!" The membership is only $3.59/month, and you pay annually so that would be $43.08 a year, but if you use my referral link here, you will get a 10% discount! It will automatically renew yearly, however you can cancel at anytime so that you won't get billed the following year when your subscription is done for the year! When you first sign up, they will send you a Member Welcome Kit with four initial postcards for free as well as some stickers and some fun activities to do! Once you are a member, you will also have access to their online Fact Explorer, which is a very good resource for curious minds!

Although this is only our third time we got the postcards, the kids know what the envelope looks like.

Here is the back of the envelope...and special delivery it is!

The first postcard that was in the stack was this amazing postcard "from" our Kiwibop Postcard Pal, Rocco. This is a Seaglass Carousel that can be found in Manhattan, New York City. It's a fairly new carousel; it opened to the public in August 2015. How cool is that!? To be able to be in a seaglass carousel....it's even open at night! How gorgeous would that be?!

Kiwibop postcard pal Skylar "sent" us this postcard from North America. This is a luna moth and it's one of the largest moths in North America. They are "easy to spot with its light green wings that are as wide as a smartphone."

Postcard pal, Tica decided to "send" us a black-cheeked love bird. "You may hear their loud bird calls before you see them because they talk in loud shrieks and high-pitched chattering." These love birds do not like being alone, they get very sad if they are not.

Bo, our last postcard friend of the month, "sent" us a postcard telling us about the octopus. Did you know that the "octopus has three hearts. They can also grab things with their tentacle, similar to an elephant's trunk." How awesome is that?!

And those were our four postcards this month! The children were really fascinated by the first postcard and asked me repeated to tell me about the carousel. They also liked the love bird one because there are times where we see parrots here in Hawai'i...and so they were telling me stories about the birds that they have seen. It was super cute. They loved all the postcards and we sat there a long time just talking about what we were looking at. I loved how these postcards encourage "story talking" with the children...and I also like how they are learning about things outside their "inner world."

So that's the monthly packet of Kiwibop Postcard Pals! I highly recommend this subscription and if you would like to subscribe your child (or other children!) with this fun, educational postcard subscription please click here for a 10% discount on your membership!

Ipsy GlamBag October 2016: Black Magic.

Ipsy's GlamBag is a monthly subscription in which you will receive 4-5 beauty products every month for just $10 (and that includes shipping and handling!) Michelle Phan curates the bags. You take a beauty questionnaire so that your GlamBag is filled with products that pertain to you! Each month when you receive your bag you can write a review and rate each product which will earn you points that you can turn into dollars when you buy things on their site. Not only that, but with each review you subscription will get to know you better and you should start receiving products that matches you more with each review/rate! Check it out here and get your very own Ipsy GlamBag each month! Oh yeah, and I can't forget! The reason why I say "bag" is because each month your subscription comes in a it's own make-up bag! How fun is that?! :)

I was super excited to see that I got my Glambag "early" since when I checked my tracking on this item, it showed that I wasn't going to get this until the 31st of the month! I was super bummed to see that, but I had accepted it because I usually get my ipsy bag later in the month. It was doing good for a bit, but then I guess they went to the old way of sending the packets off because it doesn't get to me until SUPER later in the month...I was hoping not the last day of the month...and I'm glad to see that it came earlier than what it was suppose to!

Inside the fun, shiny pink package this was what was inside....I adore the bag!

On the website it said, "We're so inspired by Valfré's drawings that we asked her to custom design this month's bag." I would feel like it would be an honor to design a bag for ipsy! Can you image just how many people will get it! That is so much fun!

pūr-lisse: Daily Lip Nourisher with Mango and Shea Butters. This was the first thing that I pulled out of the cute bag...and look at that! Lip stuff! I sure do tend to favor lip stuff...and this one sounds like something that I will love to use!

Ciaté London:Fierce Flicks Eyeliner. I gotta admit that I am super excited for this! I can never have too much black eyeliner!

Kokie Cosmetics: Kokie Nail Polish in Heavenly. On the description for this on their website it says, "A castle on a cloud. This bluish lilac shade was sent from above to grace our nails. A compliment-magnet (we get them every time.) #blessed" Yep, complete with that hashtag! :) But I will say that I will definitely try this nail polish...even though it's not exactly the color that I would go for...I am NOT complaining about nail polish!

noyah: natural Lipstick in Smoke. I don't normally wear lipstick...I tend to stay away from them since I really don't like how they taste on my lips...but I am curious to try this one! I'm glad that I got the "smoke" color...I think that it would look nice on my skin tone. :)

theBalm Cosmetics: CabanaBoy Blush. I like blush...it adds color on my face...I'm not too sure about this color though...but I can always try it out!

So, that was this month's glambag, and I have to say that it was a hot for me! I loved everything that I got in my bag and I know that I will be using it all...including the CUTE bag! :)

So come join me on ipsy and subscribe to the Glam Bag! you get 4-5 beauty products every month delivered to your door, for just $10. Michelle Phan curates the bags! Check it out here!

PeelyPack October 2016: Magical Halloween!

My little DollGirl came running into my classroom to tell me that she received her PeelyPack for this month! I was excited for her and also a little confused because I know that I changed the address so that the PeelyPack will come to me and I can give it to her...but that's okay...I will fix that all later. :) I was so proud of my little one because she opened the packet and decided that everyone that was at school already needed to have a sticker and so she shared her stickers with everyone...but not before I was able to take a picture of all her stickers. :)

PeelyPack is a monthly subscription "envelop" that "is full of fun...that kids can do all on their own!" According to their website, "The original PeelyPack ($11.99 ) comes with 10 sheets of awesome stickers, plenty for several sticker sessions. The FamilyPack ($19.99 ) has double the stickers-that's 20 sheets! The stickers are based on a different theme each month, and sometimes we throw in a fun surprise, too!" All the stickers come in a portable designed large activity sheet that is "perfect for coloring or using with stickers." It also has suggestions on "fun play tips to help you get your child thinking and learning. Talking over sticker play time is a great way for kids and parents to learn and bond."

I love how the packet is so fun looking! When you see something like this in the mail, you can't be help but be happy when you see it! At least for me, it makes me happy coz I know that my DollGirl is going to be happy with all the stickers. Stickers makes me happy, and I love the fact that it makes her happy as well.

I personally think that it's a genius idea that the creator of this subscription had when she made this pack...and had it literally be a "pack" that is full of stickers and activities! The "envelope" that it's comes with is actually a "pack" where all the stickers are!

This is what the "envelope" looks like all unfolded and with no stickers in it.

The theme of this month's PeelyPack is Magical Halloween...and I already saw that there were a lot of Halloween inspired stickers in this pack...how fun!

This was what was behind the introduction sheet...

The first thing that my niece saw were these two Halloween tattoos. Oh boy, does she love rub-on tattoos! :)

I glitter and shiny things...and I love mythical creatures as well...so it's safe to say that these were among the top of my favorite of this pack. DollGirl wanted to give me one...but I told her to keep it safe for me. I just love her...she loves to share!

Can't have a Halloween themed sticker pack without any witches, skeletons, bats, and ghosts!

Looks like a Little Red Riding Hood themed sticker sheet...cute!

These were among my favorites as well! I don't know why...but they are SUPER cute...I really like the fox and the little girl witch...so adorbz!

A bit random...but that's okay...these donuts look SUPER yummy!

I like how you an mix-n-match the bodies off of these monsters! That's super fun!

My least favorite sticker sheet...only because it is kind of creepy having all these eyes look like they are looking at you! But I am sure that my niece will find it super fun to stick these eyes on EVERYTHING!

And last, but not least, these fun foam stickers! My DollGirl loved these ones...and these are the ones that she enjoyed sharing the most. :)

Another fun-filled sticker pack for my DollGirl! I love this subscription and will totally recommend it to anyone with children! You can't really go wrong with stickers...well, maybe you would have to keep an eye out for all the possible places where they might end up sticking! :)

Well, I did get her the original pack and we didn't get 10 sticker sheets, but ELEVEN (I counted the double stickers as 1 since they were doubles) sticker sheets and then a few extras!! How fun! I was excited watching my DollGirl get excited as she was unfolding and discovering all her stickers! I would totally recommend this sticker pack for your child, or even for a fun "just because" present for any child. I guess you can make your own set, but I know that my DollGirl LOVES getting things in the mail (just like her Auntie! :)) And it was fun opening her pack with her and watching her face show the excitement I, too, was feeling in my heart. :) So, if you would like to join in with the sticker fun with us, please feel free to click here and subscribe to this fun-filled sticker subscription funness! :)
