Passion Roots

Oh okay, I know that I have been caught up in life that I hadn't really properly started this blog right...but what I'm going to do is post pictures up of some of the past events that I've done with Passion Roots...and then I'll try to keep up with it. Hopefully, I can get this thing rolling.

In saying that, since I started working for Passion Roots as an intern on August 30, 2010...I have learned so much about the wedding/event industry. I realized that I do have a love for flowers and I think that it's the most awesome-est job ever...I can't ever have a bad day when working with flowers...they just make me so happy! :) My boss is an amazing person with so much talent and creativity and my sister [who also works for this company] is also a person filled with creativeness as well as a person who organizes EVERYTHING! I have NO idea where I would be without these two. Anyways, here are a few pictures of the work that Passion Roots has done.

Roof Top Launch Party for the Honolulu Design Center

I know that I should juss start posting up when I actually do the event...But this Roof Top Launch Party that we did for the Honolulu Design Center was done, I think somewhere around October, I think...it was a wedding fair event where we had a photoshoot of a "fake" wedding...and people came to talk to other wedding vendors [I worked for Passion Roots here].

These pictures were taken before people arrived when the photoshoot was taking place.

These are the flowers that I processed that we used for the photoshoot...there is something soothing and therapeutic to me when I process flowers! :)

Christmas Holiday Retail Ideas

So, we are trying to start some Holiday Retailing...and so I went online so that I can find some inspiration...:

I love the concept of the flower wreaths. You can easily switch it up some to make it look Christmassy...

I this the idea of using fruit as holiday decoration is a wondering fun idea...somehow we can brainstorm using flowers...imagine the smell of it! It would be beautiful!

Candle. I have always liked candles, I think you can really make it super christmas festive if done right.

9th.Sept.2010::Boutonnieres

9th.Sept.2010::Wedding Inspirations

Some pictures that inspire me. :) Wedding Decorator Assistant-wise as well as "my" wedding-wise [whenever that will be! :)]

I love the simplicity of this design. A single rose bud in a fishbowl with, it looks like transparent rocks/marbles. It's romantic feeling.

I love the way they use the vases in this picture.

My favorite wedding color theme: Black and white and Pink. In this picture, with the lines, it makes it look fun and modern!

I'm kind of bummed that it didn't say what kind of grass they put in the jar, but it looks like bear grass. I love the effect.

Wait for the one...

TO ALL OF YOU LADIES OUT THERE WHO JUST JUMP FOR ANY GUY THAT'S BREATHING:

Find a guy who calls you beautiful instead of hott,
who calls you back when you hang up on him,
who will stay awake just to watch you sleep.

Wait for the guy who kisses your forehead,
who wants to show you off to the world when you are in your sweats,
who holds your hand in front of his friends.

Wait for the one who is constantly reminding you of how much he cares about you and how lucky he is to have you.

Wait for the one who turns to his friends and says,".....that's her."

Wait for a guy..... who can wrestle with you and let you win.... who u can talk to about anything... who laughs at your jokes.... who puts your cold hands in his warm hoodie pockets.... who lets you use his sweatshirt for a pillow....

Wait for a guy who will kiss you in the rain, in the sunshine, and in the snow.... who calls unexpectedly.... who will have many inside jokes with you and remember each one.... a guy who notices haircuts.... who realizes that you may say things in anger but don't always mean them....

Wait for a guy who you can go swimming with on hot days.... a guy who can tell you his problems and let you help.... who will listen to you talk... who will bring you seashells from the beach.... who will let you "beat him up" when you get angry....

Wait for a guy who writes love letters to you, but doesn't always send them.... who draws you pictures and slips them gently into your locker slot.... who saves his genuine, big smiles for you.... who has deep eyes, that can see through faces into depths....

Wait for a guy who wears baseball hats and lets you wear his too. ... who gives you his t-shirt to change into and not expect to get it back.... who knows your favorite color, song, car, vegetable, perfume, and the color of your toothbrush....

Wait for a guy who will shake your dad's hand and look your mom in the eye.... who will call you by your full name--first, middle and last.... who will know when something is wrong when you're trying your best to put on an act... who will kiss you and tell you you're beautiful....

Wait for a guy who will let you cry to him.... who will hold you and kiss your cheek.... who suprises you and compliments and plays with your hair.... who will brag about you to all of his friends...who will not tell his friends about the intimate stuff you did...

Wait for a guy who is not afraid to give you a great big hug right in front of his mom... who smells like
he just stepped out of the shower.... who will cut his hair when he knows it looks bad... who wears cologne that you can subtly smell when you're leaning on his shoulder....

Wait for a guy who will not try to meet up with other girls if he knows you'll get jealous...who tells you that you have a nice laugh and a smile that lights up the room... and who is simply yours to hold....................

You'll find him! Just be Patient!!!! God will provide one for you when the time is right!!! =)

You don't need to spend your time looking, or spend your time waiting...Spend your time preparing...
